"My role is certainly a busy one, and often varied. So, as well as providing advice on mortgages, insurance products and wills, you could also find me helping out on the counter, when needed. There's variety too in the number of different people I get to meet. Each one is different, but all are well looked after.

"As the job sometimes involves meeting these customers outside of business hours, a flexible approach to working patterns is definitely something you need. And, as targets are such an important part of what we do, you also need to be really business-focused.

"Not so long ago I did actually leave Skipton, thinking the grass was greener on the other side. Well, it wasn't. And I’m glad to be back with such a friendly, focused and competitive team that never seems to lack motivation, especially in current market conditions.

As for the future, I'm seriously thinking about a move into management and applying for the Skipton Fame Academy. If I do, I'm certain to get every encouragement."
