In 2008 we opened a number of new branches, including Dorking, Northwich, Newbury, Woking and Warrington. Early in the year, Wilmslow in Cheshire became one of over 80 branches in our nationwide network.

There's always a real buzz in the air on a branch's first day, and Wilmslow was certainly no exception - with Coronation Street star, Anthony Cotton, cutting the ribbon at the opening event.

Initial interest in our products and services has continued, with the branch attracting over 1000 new customers in its first nine months. In fact, Wilmslow is doing so well that it's among the most successful of our new branches, and is set to become one of our flagship sites. Thanks in no small part to the contribution made by a talented and enthusiastic branch team.
